As great fan of your films, for your upcoming movie (suggestion):
1) Please cast either Vikram or Kamal Hassan for your next project.
2) Music director A R Rahman would be ideal together along lyricist Vaali and Vairamuthu.
3)Choose current top bollywood heroine: Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor or Vidya Balan.
4) Why does not you join hand with writer Balakumaran whom you work with him in Gentleman,Kadhalan and Jeans ?

Kalpathi S Aghoram has reportedly paid Shankar a dizzying amount to do a film for his AGS Entertainment banner. Shankar is readying the script and the hunt is on to finalize a top hero.
Word is that Shankar as well as the producers are keen to have Rajini in the main role. It remains to be seen whether Rajini will sign on the dotted line however as he is thinking of doing Rana next.

I am really speechless looking at your dedication in answering the questions. Mr. Shankar, I actually saw Sujatha in your replies. So apt, to the point and very beautifully worded. It was actually like your screenplay !
Your experiences with the genius Sujatha and ARR’s humility and care made my eyes wet. I think you are the only director to have presented Sujatha’s thoughts visually in complete sense.
I was actually able to feel your true dedication to your family when you wrote about your trip to Nanganallur Anjaneyar temple and when you explained about your son’s illness / ailments. I was able to see a true and humble husband / father in those lines.
I was expecting one important question and was little disappointed that it was not asked. I am taking the liberty of asking this question to you and hoping that I will have an answer.
My Question:
I am sure Maestro Ilaiyaraaja’s music must have been part of your life when you grew up. What is your opinion about his music? Is there any change that you two would work together?
I wish you tons of successess in all your endeavours by entertaining hundreds and thousands of fans like me and also wishing you a very balanced family life.

Please make sure that the movie has subtitles (english or any other language) not just for international markets, but also inside India when released outside Tamilnadu. Subtitles on Nanban was really good.
Also, please promote your movies well on http://www.imdb.com. I think only 2 of your movies on the website have photos added. I think this is very important and Tamil movies lack this sort of marketing. IMDB is a very famous website and through it your movies can have a wider reach. So make sure your future movies are promoted well on here and if possible add photos and any other info on your previous movies as well.

சூப்பர் ஸ்டார் ரஜினி நடிப்பில் கடந்த 2010-ம் ஆண்டு வெளியாகி, இந்தியாவிலேயே அதிக வசூலைக் குவித்த படம் என்ற பெருமையைப் பெற்ற எந்திரன் – தி ரோபோ, இப்போது ஜப்பானைக் கலக்கி வருகிறது.
இந்தப் படத்துக்கு ஜப்பானில் கிடைத்துள்ள ஆதரவு உலகையே திரும்பிப் பார்க்க வைத்துவிட்டது. ரோபோ என்ற மனித எந்திரங்கள் உற்பத்தியில் உலகின் முதன்மை நாடாகப் போற்றப்படும் ஜப்பானில், ரஜினியின் ரோபோ திரைப்படம் வெளியாகியுள்ளதை ஒரு திருவிழாவாகவே கொண்டாடி வருகின்றனர் அந்நாட்டு மக்கள்.

படம் வெளியாகி நான்கு வாரங்களுக்குப் பிறகும் கூட்டம் குறையவில்லை. ரோபோ ரஜினி முகமூடி அணிந்தபடி இரும்பிலே ஒரு இதயம் பாடலை முணுமுணுத்தபடி, மீண்டும் மீண்டும் படம் வருகிறார்கள் ரசிகர்கள்.
வில்லன் ரஜினி மே… என பழித்துக் காட்டுவாரே… அது அந்த ரசிகர்களுக்கு ரொம்பவே பிடித்துப் போய்விட்டதாம்.

is he not able to provide music you need.
i heard flim industry circles you are not comfortable with
